This evening we played Teotihuacan: City of Gods by Daniele Tascini and published by Board & Dice. This was my first play, and I feel like it's was a little long for what it is. And we only had one eclips before we finished the pyramid.
Then we played another game of Knarr...and fave.

Survived a party with 10 children aged 9 and under. Thank the gods that I should survive thanks to tonight being a game night.

Last night I had a couple of friends over to get Sweet Lands (by Totsuca Chuo, published by uchibacoya). It was a real brain burning point salad game but we all loved the game. Scoring was close, a six point difference between 1st and last place)

Another game night in the books. We started with Monstrolicious a fun little two player. Then Smartphone Inc., this is a favourite for the group. Followed by Flip 7. Then wrapped up the evening with LotR The Fellowship of the Ring the Trick-Taking Game.

SCTV was a faveourite. I loved her Lola.

This one hit hard. She was an icon! She played some of the most memorable characters on bith the big and small screen.

One of our favourites. We regularly end game day with Knarr.

It is so good, jump at any chance you might get to play it, especially if you enjoy heavy euros and worker placement.

My daughter and I played some Zombie Dice this afternoon. She bested in 2 out of 3 games. She really enjoys this one from @stevejacksongames.bsky.social.

I just discovered this show. And binged it. Looking forward to a season 3. I will also have to find the books.

I think the fact we played it again right away says a lot. It's a fun light puzzle. If you lean into the theme you'll likely have a blast.

It's really the only movie of his I like. Most of the others I struggled to get through. Kill Bill gets turned off before the hour mark, even though I try to watch it every few years.

We got in a game of Power Grid (by Friedmann Friese published by Rio Grand Games)tonight too. We played the Korea map. Brought back memories of my time teaching there. This is a favourite in our group.

In the middle of game one tonight. Moon Colony Bloodbath by Donald X Vaccarino and published by Rio Grande Games. We are enjoying it so far. But we are already hemorrhaging colonists.

I have only managed to play once and it was full player count. Not sure I'd enjoy it as much with fewer players.

Ave you played with the expansion yet? I just got a copy and haven't been able to get it to the table yet.

Love it, but it's a challenge to get people together who want to play a game this heavy and asymmetrical.

Why board game designer Cole Wehrle left Leder, and what comes next Cole Wehrle tells me that Buried Giant Studios is the key to producing bigger, better, faster board games, and he has PLENTY of ideas ready.

This makes me even more excited about Buried Giant than I was with the initial announcement. It will be interesting to see what new worlds/historical snapshots will enter the board game space.
