I don’t know if it would have been possible to prove in a court of law that the powers of the Presidency were used with corrupt intent and personal gain — even before SCOTUS made that infinitely harder — but the slow-rolling consequences of this specific pardon certainly make the best case.

These people were pardoned as part of a campaign promise Trump made to his supporters to shield them from the consequences of crimes they commit in his name. It’s only right the media continues to shine a spotlight on the crimes they continue to commit in support of their guy.
