I haven't posted in a long time. I've been dealing with some personal stuff and I've been worried about AI, but I'm back. This was part of my thesis and now I'm reworking it. I'll post the final result when I'm done. Are you interested in seeing the progress pics, or just the final painting?

I HATE this. Part of the joy of reading is the elegance (or sometimes the crudity) of writing, the flow of language, the words CHOSEN. It gives the bones of a Story its vitality, and now they want to drain the body and leave just a dessicated skeleton. Ugh.

One of the negative byproducts of going to school for art and doing it as a living is that I've forgotten that it's okay if I literally only just draw cats. Like this is fine.

How about "dumb down your reading skills and lose your vocabulary ability with ai that assumes you're on second grade level"

I can't imagine this will be a success. I'm a slow reader (although my vocabulary is fine) and there is nothing that would persuade me to use such a ludicrous device. It wouldn't even help me read faster, as my reading speed is tied to visualization, not vocabulary

this is one of my favorite and most frustrating drawings. when I drew it, I was trying to draw "like bill watterson" and make a cartoony t-rex.
