The Flash movie’s mess getting blamed on Christina Hodson the moment she gets tapped to write the DCU’s Batman flick feels like misogyny. Plus, Birds of Prey kicks ass.

The First Law Trilogy, by Joe Abercrombie. Definitely recommend to fans of Game of Thrones. Dial up the magic and hopelessness, dial down the descriptions of food, couple that with the fact that the trilogy has an actual ending, great characters, and an insanely fun plot, and you get First Law.

It’s got its flaws and the marketing left a bad taste in people’s mouths, but it’s still a good blockbuster type flick. Never gets left out of a trilogy marathon.

I’ll still watch The Frustration of Khan too. Kelvin timeline is hella fun.
