October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I’ve had 2 or 3 miscarriages. 2 were confirmed at 22 weeks and ~8 weeks gestation, and the third was likely although it was so early I didn’t take a pregnancy test. I don’t feel like talking about it much today, maybe another time.

You never know what you’ll find at the wine store. Four bottles 10-year-old Tobin James Ballistic Zinfandel were forgotten on the bottom shelf and collecting dust when they were saved from their purgatory. The cork from the first bottle broke, but the wine itself tasted great! Cheers! 🍷🍷

Yesterday I refreshed my booth at @marketstreetcreatives and someone suggested decorating the bottom. It looks like it cuts off at the ankles. I don’t want to use furniture because it’ll get kicked or irritate someone. So it would have to be something flat on the walls. Any suggestions???

While I’ve been recovering I’ve been working on doubling inventory. Again. (I just moved into a store.) Anyway, hubby and I are splitting shows for one day, then I have two holiday drop-off shows. I made this; then ran out of sterling silver headpins and ear wires. More on that later.

Getting to the end of our fresh, homegrown produce. Baby purple and yellow potatoes, golden squash and the chicken dish has our tomatoes and basil. Salad before with our tomatoes and bell peppers not pictured. Sigh. I may experiment with growing beets inside the house this winter. #blueskysupperclub

So I woke up this morning. Yay! Oh my goodness I hurt. My head is tender, but every muscle in my body is screaming from the fall… and hit. I’d say I’m surprised it didn’t do more damage to the rest of me, but my head took the brunt of it. 😑

Just got the CT results. No brain bleed, no fracture in skull or neck. So they’re going to let me go. It feels like there’s a flat spot on my head but it’s just because the lump next to it is pretty good. I’m glad I came in and I’m glad everything is ok. Thanks everyone! ❤️

CT done. Tech says that I have a brain. Waiting on other results…

I don’t want to call my retired nurse mom because she’ll just be upset, and Mike’s parents (retired nurse mom and not-nurse dad) are on vacation. It just really fuckin hurts. 😭 Mike’s drinking a Diet Coke and is settling in for a long night of watching me. 🤕 (2/2)

Well this is a fun evening. After a long weekend show I fell in the shower and hit my head. Mike is here with me. I didn’t loose consciousness and I have full memory of the event, before and after. I don’t feel well but not vomiting. I have ice on it. (1/2)

We got home from a quick trip to Las Vegas to visit family, and these two went to Birdie Camp. Kiwi had a really good baf (two handed for the first time!) then slept on my shoulder for an hour. Popcorn wound up chilling on Kiwi’s cage, then later in her own cage. Now everybirdie is in bed. ⬇️
