That may seem like poor design, I guess, but having every vanguard capable of solo tanking effectively seem... I dunno, kinda dull.

That said, I do agree she lacks mobility, but then I'm used to playing Adam.

When enemy supports do come closer because of your barrier, that's when you use the diamond form to assassinate them. Otherwise, you want to use as much cover as your left click will allow (which admittedly is not much). She runs best as a second tank.

She is not an anchor tank like mags or Dr. S, so expectations of being the point and surviving shouldn't be too high. Her shield isn't really for herself, and is kind of best used to cut off tanks from their healers like a groot wall, forcing them to cross it to heal their tank.

As someone new to hero shooters, why would "rank placement matches" matter?

I would clarify that I would want microtransactions removed from paid for games. Don't care about them in f2p games.

Her left click is one of the weaker attacks in the game, especially amongst duelists. As to whether Her changes in season 2 amount to a buff or not remains to be seen. They took away some damage (percentile) and replaced it with base damage, iirc.

Professor X has been walking on his own since 2005, after House of M, iirc. That is just how he is in the Krakoa age of Marvel now. Not Rivals' doing.

Peni Parker is a great spray and pray character. No ammo count means no reloading, which means you can pretty much keep the left click down.

And she is getting buffed in season 2. As someone who cannot aim well myself, I recommend her.

Jeff's ult does heal allies he swallows, but it's not worth it to do just for that. It's not a lot of healing.

Very much so. I had mine on hdd(my laptop has both) while my wife had hers on ssd. Loading was almost instant for her. I'd load in like 15 seconds into the match, sometimes more. I made space and switched it to my ssd (barely fit with 15gb to spare) and now I load in with her.

Are you using a SSD or a HDD to store the game?

Out of curiosity, do you say that because they split time with Dagger or because they have no legs? Lol

Mantis's Chinese skin that just dropped makes me think Netease really should have made her a melee strategist, somehow. She is out here doing IP Man's moves in the MVP but just boringly tossing out green things in game.

The MCU has(had) a larger fan base than any game ever will, so yes, it is a more casual fan base, but even if it were the same base, the encapsulated nature of the mcu, I think, would pull fewer to comics than the more interactive games p.

The MCU presented their characters with their own stories self contained (mostly) that didn't need the comics. Rivals doesn't do that, forcing people to go to the comics to find out more about them if they want to.

Yeah. It's the one time I feel the art peeps at Netease dropped the ball (well, that and Caps too short arms) - Dagger and Sue have the same color schemes, down to even their powers.

Indeed. A much better comparison would be Rivals vs othe Marvel games. Like the avengers one. Which some people have done! And done well.

I'll add that I've never particularly enjoyed hero shooters, but something about Rivals' mix and chaos has pulled me in.
