I've really missed my guys so so much...it felt like something fundamental in my life had been missing. Drawing is my true love at the end of the day, I'm happy to be reunited 💓

I'd been coding a lot lately just for fun, and while I wore my coding hat, I couldn't draw for myself unless it benefitted the code somehow. Now that I'm done with the coding project, I can draw like normal again. This is pretty consistent for me and is a bit frustrating actually!

Ah...I'm finally drawing again. I was scared I forgot how to do it. Does anyone else experience a loss of skill or motivation for personal art when they are doing a less..."artistic" hobby for a lack of a better word?

I say that not to freak you out because it's SUPER RARE that a image host has downtime that bad, but it's just something to keep in mind!! Sorry for the novel, I've become pretty passionate about this stuff. I've collected and learned so much making my site... Hope this helps at all! 🌈

The two I would suggest are filegarden and catbox! I used filegarden before I switched to hosting on the site itself. There was some recent trouble with it that made everyone's images break for over a week and that's what motivated me to not rely so much on 3rd party for that sort of thing.

It's also just so cutes...I love animal themed things 💜 As far as image hosts go...I personally host on the site itself. Even with all the images I have, I'm not even close to 1GB out of the 10 I have as a supporter. If you don't plan on paying though...definitely get a file host LMAO.

I am a patreon supporter in order to use my custom domain (which is also cheaper than neocities paid version btw, with way more perks!) And password protected pages are on the docket which I'm personally very enthused about, and I figure you may be too as a fellow privacy-head :}

I guess the main difference though, is that nekoweb has less social media features than neocities which I never understood to begin with? There's no "activity page" or anything like that, just the humble follow button! It's also still being maintained and updated!

HI. I switched over from neocities to nekoweb actually! As someone that's used both, I think nekoweb easily clears... its free version is a bit more robust than neocities which I think is worth it in itself (No file type limits for example) and the site editor is better, with more QoL features.

I quietly relaunched my own site yesterday after an overhaul & that's the reason I haven't made it public LOL. It's nice to have a space to put everything in the open cause it's stuff that I painfully worked through & it makes me who I am, but I don't think my followers need to knwo that. Heart ❤️
