That's just burning everything down, and it's a typically vague and facile answer. "Fire with fire" is "an eye for an eye."

My approach is 3-pronged: 1. Vote against Republicans. 2. Band with other Americans in acts of effective civil disobedience/protest/resistance. 3. Keep educating myself.

The Democrats campaigned like normal people. They almost won in 2024. They were competitive. But Elon Musk had his thumb on the scale + media had theirs.

Meanwhile, Democrats have been sweeping special elections, and won in '18, '20, and '22. Keep up!

Democrats offered a better alternative. Voters said: "Nah. Let's burn."

Some are even showing buyer's remorse. Because they know they f*cked up.

A leader's job is to bolster and protect the people, to improve their lives—and that includes warnings, when they are necessary.

A politician's job may be to be a loud, aggressive advocate for their beliefs.

Only the best politicians are leaders too.

Could it be that the Democrats aren't weak, but voters are stupid? Every prominent Democrat (and countless nonpartisan specialists) warned Americans about the dangers of a second Trump term.

Yet Americans learn by consequence, not by being forewarned. If they learn at all.
