Someone should start asking why weโ€™re hearing and seeing Stephen Miller so much all of a sudden.

Hoping his hamhanded statement today will hurt his mayoral bid.

The brave men and women who serve in our national guards must not be used as political props. This is a moment where every American must speak up and help stop this madness.

Is the story of their lives.

In sum, the President is certainly entitled "a great level of deference," Newsom II, 141

Court concludes that the President did not have a "colorable basis" to invoke ยง 12406(3) to
federalize the National Guard because the situation on the ground belied an inability of federal
law enforcement officers to execute federal law. Id. at 1051-52. The President's determination
was simply untethered to the facts.

If a federal judge, appointed by Trump, can call him โ€œsimply untethered to facts,โ€ our White House press corps can as well.

Honestly? Bush and Bowman just sucked.

It had nothing to do with "Israel." Ask their constituents.

They were voted out. Like Trump was in 2020. Stop claiming everything you don't like is "rigged."

What are you advocating? Kamikaze in the streets? A shooting match with hunting rifles and AR-15 ? Bombing homes and offices?

That's what it sounds like.

But I guess you, like Trump + pals, feel "strong."

That's just burning everything down, and it's a typically vague and facile answer. "Fire with fire" is "an eye for an eye."

My approach is 3-pronged: 1. Vote against Republicans. 2. Band with other Americans in acts of effective civil disobedience/protest/resistance. 3. Keep educating myself.

Wrong.

The Democrats campaigned like normal people. They almost won in 2024. They were competitive. But Elon Musk had his thumb on the scale + media had theirs.

Meanwhile, Democrats have been sweeping special elections, and won in '18, '20, and '22. Keep up!

Democrats are not failing.

Voters are failing.

Democrats offered a better alternative. Voters said: "Nah. Let's burn."

Some are even showing buyer's remorse. Because they know they f*cked up.

A leader's job is to bolster and protect the people, to improve their livesโ€”and that includes warnings, when they are necessary.

A politician's job may be to be a loud, aggressive advocate for their beliefs.

Only the best politicians are leaders too.

Could it be that the Democrats aren't weak, but voters are stupid? Every prominent Democrat (and countless nonpartisan specialists) warned Americans about the dangers of a second Trump term.

Yet Americans learn by consequence, not by being forewarned. If they learn at all.
