Not too much I could say to sell this beyond that. It's a perfect record for relaxing, getting stoned, and thinking about your favorite space western, a solid 8/10.

My favorite song was probably Cantina Empire, really surprised me with the western vibes but it worked perfectly. (3/3)

Occurrens was a big fan of bleeding songs into each other to create an ever-changing spacial soundscape. Tower does not do this, but each song is still bursting with ideas and atmosphere. I adore this style of jammy space rock, it captures the whimsy of the universe's unknowns beautifully. (2/3)

Today, I listened to Tower by Falcon Arrow

The debut project of this space rock duo, I was expecting more of what I enjoyed from their sophomore record, and I was not disappointed

While I wouldn't say this as good as their followup, Occurrens, it's still a very inventive, if unrefined work. (1/3)

My favorite track was Poseedora de mi Sombra, it's an exemplar of everything this album does well and is arguably the most beautiful. Simply incredible. (7/7)

This is definitely an album I'm gonna have to sit on and revisit again and again, just to get a slightly better grip on it.

Regardless, the album was very enjoyable. I'm confident in giving it a 9/10, this album moved me in ways that are hard to describe. (6/7)

One of Volta's biggest strengths has always been dragging you into a pseudo trance, directly connecting you to their insanity. This album also drags you into a trance, though this one is almost meditative. The band feels more at peace than they ever have, which makes this experience unique. (5/7)

Every performer is of course at top form, Cedric being the obvious star of the show. I also appreciate how many of the electronic elements are reminiscent of their earliest experimenting with ambience. It's a compelling blend of old and new that kept this from getting too unusual. (4/7)

With that said, I will admit I'm not too sure what to do with this album. It's more different than I expected, and it's throwing me off. The album is moody and atmospheric, almost ethereal at times. This album feels very somber to me, many of the lyrics seem as if they're mourning a loss. (3/7)

I'm a massive fan of the Volta, their albums comprise some of the most ambitious, exciting, and consistently mind melting that progressive rock has to offer. Their recent material has been content to settle down, and while some aren't satisfied with this new direction, I'm very supportive. (2/7)

The ninth studio album from the band sees them going in another new direction. Where their self-titled was a latin pop rock masterpiece, this diverges again into ambient jazz. It's... a strange direction (1/7)
