And a surprise by Christopher Wren branching out from 17th Century baroque architecture. I'd always heard he was a polymath.

Labour can't even do its Brexit shift competently. Say it was wrong and you can make Farage carry the can. Say it was badly executed, as Labour is doing, and you support his narrative that Leave voters were betrayed.

It would be funny - except we'll all have to carry the can for their incompetence.

"Eye-catching..." is kinda how much of the West has ended up in this clown car hurtling towards authoritarianism. I think it's time to acknowledge that.

Sky News and the BBC repeatedly mention the "migrant crisis" in doing so they are normalising and legitimising far right talking points. There is no "migrant crisis", there is only migrant hysteria, which the British media is feeding into instead of countering.

Prime Minister is not a title which should be used as a prefix like King, President or Doctor.
It isn't "Prime Minister Starmer"

I'm two days late (should have been September 13th) but I'm re-watcing Space 1999: Breakaway. I love that this show, and this episode in particular, can be both amazing and shit-mazing in equal measure.

I know a lot of people have expressed similar sentiments but I’ve lived in London for 20+ years and never felt threatened or a even a bit scared to be here until today. This needs to end.

Excavating a Television Classic: Pyramids of Mars (1975) The Doctor (Tom Baker) and his companion, Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) are travelling through the space-time vortex when an entity appears to enter the TARDIS, drawing the ship off course, to land in the locked storage room in a Victorian priory during the year 1911. The room is filled with ancient Egyptian coffins and other funerary paraphernalia from a series of archaeological excavations. The priory is home to Professor Marcus Scarman who has vanished during his recent excavation at Sa

Listening to the BBC interview with the PM and shocked at the question "would you let your daughter walk past an asylum hotel"

How many rotten assumptions are wrapped up in that question? And how is this considered a neutral position?

BBC Breakfast just said "And now a story of hope" for a nice story about suicide prevention.

I'm reflecting on how different the mood music would be if that box in the corner of the room normalised "stories of hope" about immigrants & trans people rather than "small boats small boats small boats."

"entirely groundless"

This is how public discourse is being is being debased.

The GFA expressly requires access to court in Northern Ireland for ECHR.

But what Straw says is not tested, just repeated, and so a "both sides" "debate" is created.

The actualitΓ© drowns.

Sad to watch in real time.
