The Trump administration’s proposed extension of the 2017 tax cuts will balloon the deficit. It will enrich the top 5%, who will get 45 % of the benefits. Meanwhile the meager tax cuts for the rest of us will be offset be cuts to SNAP $230 billion over the next decade and $880 billion to Medicaid.
