Triangulating the perfect message is nice for researchers/consultants, but is terrible politics and undermines individual and community capacity for true leadership.

Political insight and expertise got confused with the capacity to design really nice regression analyses. It devalued subjectivity, narrative, and moral vision, which flowed from this work being housed at PWIs.

The field of Political Science values and elevates the quant research behind these calculations re voter behavior. Those students and scholars then populate the party and the consultant class.
