I know that just 4 #worldbuilding maps in one year might be few and far between, but it's for the love of the detail and tiny, intricate landmarks, roads, hills and the history that I #write for my #fantasy #book that takes up time.

That's fair. With me, I don't like the gory or bloody elements, I can get quesy reading certain descriptions of stuff. πŸ˜‚ I do love though, uncanny valley type encounters the most. Things like anomolies or weird places where you start seeing things you can't explain.

I personally love fantasy mixed with horror. I've said this before to people and I will say it again, I love folklore and stories about creatures appearing as beautiful beings, only for things to go south and they begin to reveal their true faces. Oh! I love it, I love it, I love that kind of mix. 😁

Have been experimenting with different styles recently with my #glasspainting and decided to do a blue tit on a branch of rose hips.

As much as I enjoy #painting the cartoonish stuff I usually do, I loved how the bird turned out. But maybe be a bit more gentle with the #ink.

Ah, bugger. Hey at least I know now. Thank you so much for telling me. 😁 I'm still sort of new to these things. I'll get there eventually. It was lovely seeing your work too. Everyone has such a unique style and different way of doing things.

I made a small #sketch and a #storyboard for this short story I'm working on.

I've been #writing this #wip for a while and sometimes I struggle to #create ideas for how I want it to go.

So I've done some #conceptart for it to help me draft ideas.

What do you think?

The bunny in the petal hat is definitely adorable. But can we talk about the dress? It's such a gorgeous colour, and the tiny little embellishments and patterns on the sleeves and skirt are lovely.

And I don't know where this train of thought came from. It just popped into my head today when I was scanning people.

I think, it's one of those things that you don't think about until you 'see' it, and make that link.

But the fact doesn't seem, obvious, until it hits you, and stays in your head.

You know what's really a beautiful thing to me as a radiographer, #BlueSky?

Brains...

Structurally, they all look identical-ish. But the people..?

You have different lives, different personalities. Just, different...

Same structure, different wiring.

That's beauty to me.

😁 I kind of like the idea of prosthetic legs and shoes being made of old wizard staffs and tools. One of the old women in my wip is using a druid's club as a prosthetic leg, and it rattles with coins and trinkets every time she walks.

I'd love if there was some lore behind the stilettos where the more powerful the witch the more insanely tall the heels on her boots.

*gasp*

What if there was an incredibly powerful witxh, and the heels of her stilettos were made of discarded old wands!?

Magic feet.

A year ago I asked my sister to buy me glass painting pens because I wanted to try a new hobby.

I've been collecting glass instead of throwing it, and transforming them into little art pieces!

I'd like to do something with them involving charity one day. 😁

Alright #writingcommunity, I have to admit. Trying to write a book for children is much harder than I thought.

How do you explain something as big and heavy as the topic of death to a child? How do you explain, that they won't see someone again?

I want to get it right.

There's no balance I've found, I either have to take one mad, inspired frenzy writing day, or a day where I have 0 energy and 0 ideas. There's no inbetween.

When that happens, I sit in the corner with my tea and a tot of baileys and mope about. β˜•οΈπŸ₯Ί

Some days, writing feels like slogging through mud. You wrestle with every word and end up cutting more than you add. Other days, it’s MAGIC. Your brain locks in, the words flow, and--gasp!--the scene is good. Both kinds of days matter.

Today was a good one. πŸ’™πŸ“š #booksky

My God you really hit the nail on the head. I've been really struggling recently with writing anything because it feels like my brain has a brick weighing it down.

But those times when my brain gets rolling. The feeling is amazing to have things spontanously explode onto paper. πŸ₯ΉπŸ‘Œ

I celebrate Samhain, I'd say it's definitely the section of the wheel of the year I feel most connected too.

I love the philosophy behind carving vegtables into lanterns being to guide good spirits home, but then you have costumes, which is to scare away negative spirits. It's facsinating.
