Potomac Yard. Not just aesthetically, but because of its openness and amenities. It also has high end JBL speakers, really nice and easily accessible restrooms, secure bike storage, redundant elevators, and ample lighting.

So let me get this straight — someone gets FIRED for having a Pride flag on their desk? In 2025?!

Hey @wmata.com, almost all the interior speakers are damaged on bus 7163.

I had this great idea for an entry into @wmata.com’s giveaway featuring me wearing my #MetroU hoodie around on campus. Didn’t turn out the way I hoped, but at least it’s something.

Turns out it was some other trip. A bus showed up on the westbound M70 5 minutes later and left as soon as everyone boarded.

This happened again just now. Westbound M70 left Silver Spring 3 minutes early.

Saw that same train as well. Here it is passing by Montgomery College TPSS.

Also the buses on the M70 are completely packed during rush hour. Maybe consider deploying articulated buses during rush hour. Bus isn’t even one stop into the route and there are no seats available.

@wmata.com, I really hate complaining about things like this, but bus 7257 running the 4:06 PM westbound M70 trip departed Silver Spring 3 minutes early resulting in me missing a connection from another bus that was running on time.

I will say that I do like this attempt at trying to create a consistent brand identity for Metro. And as long as we get padded seats, power outlets, and a human voice for the automated announcements on the 8K, then I’m happy.

I actually really liked the design that was on the mockup last year. I was very disappointed to see that it’s not one of the options.

To all the MAGA folks who said I shouldn't talk about the rights of 700,000 D.C. residents because it isn't Maryland –– despite the border we share –– I ask you why these Republican governors, who are hundreds of miles away, should send their national guard troops to D.C.?

Also another commendation for WMATA: the new bus seats. They are still padded and provide the comfort of the old fabric material, but seem more sanitary and easier to clean. I always enjoy getting buses with these new seats.

Potomac Yard is also my go-to restroom whenever I’m in the area. The restrooms here are clean, functional, and easily accessible (don’t need to ask to use it). 10/10.

After walking around the fair to see if there was anything else I found interesting, I took @wmata.com’s new A70 bus to Potomac Yard

Today I got to ride one of @arlingtontransit.com.web.brid.gy’s new battery electric buses on their free shuttle to the Arlington County Fair (which I admittedly only went to so I could check out their cooling bus)

That looks like a lot of fun! More transit systems should do stuff like this.

Also, bus 7266 has a broken interior display.

Hey @wmata.com, the new vicinity map for Silver Spring has incorrect service days listed for some Ride On routes www.wmata.com/rider-guide/...
Route 20 also operates on Saturday and Sunday, and route 21 does not operate on Saturday.
