The irony being that most politicians will face or have faced a disability at some point in their lives.

The narrative around disability being "exclusive" to bodies in wheelchairs or people using canes needs to continue evolving.

Bodies are fragile, and disability (seen and unseen) affects all.

We (I’m a twin) were 7 when we attended the school.

Sounds like the elementary school I went to. We were too close for the bus and needed to cross a 4 lane high speed “street” to get to the road without a sidewalk and no major shoulder. Winter was terrifying.

That’s sad and easily avoidable.
