On a background picture of massive explosions are two text boxes. One is a quote next to a cut-out of DJT giving a press conference. The quote reads: "I just want to thank everybody and, in particular, God. We love you, God." The other, smaller text reads "STATEMENT FROM DONALD J. TRUMP FOLLOWING THE DROPPING OF "BUNKER BUSTER" BOMBS ON IRAN June 21, 2025"

This morning, evangelical churches across the country will be praising God for the b0mbs dropped in the name of their own 'safety.' This is what Christian nationalism does for power. This is what 'gaining the world but losing your soul' looks like. And this is all connected to the ongoing gènòçìdè.

I am watching as outlets that haven't covered bombings in the last 2 years of genocide now publish footage of the damage to Isràelì buildings.
We cannot allow empathy to be conditional. Palestinian lives and homes are not worth less.
Watch the narrative being spun these next few weeks.

again I hate to sound like an old lady, but the Iraq War directly influenced the two presidential elections that followed for Democrats, especially, and Barack Obama won in 08 because he wasn’t in the Senate to cast a vote on the Iraq War and got to say he opposed it when Hillary Clinton didn’t

This is what I grew up with. And when I reference the genocide of Palestinians and the war with Iran to my parents, they say, “I’m glad, it means Jesus will come back soon.”

The Mayor has imposed a curfew on DTLA tonight.

For those who whom might not understand the geography of this city, or the scope of this “violence”…

The curfew boundary is *literally* across the street from me…

…and I haven’t seen a single ANYTHING.

LA IS NOT RIOTING

Amazing. Do you have a trade secret to packing material on the go? I swear I look like a door-to-door shoe salesman with my box of handouts haha

Patriot Front nazis on the ground in #kansascity this past weekend. Folks are working to spread the word + footage. Two U-Hauls of men in masks, caps, & sunglasses marching with confederate flags are reported as being escorted by c0ps while they blocked streets. Keep being vigilent, friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who watched Conclave but were unable to lore dump about how the process works before the new #Pope was chosen irl. The opportunity is gone but not forgotten.

I am deeply worried about folks knowing where to find each other as surveillance gets worse. There are so many people who - if their social media accounts were terminated tomorrow - wouldn't know their friends/allies phone#s or addresses. How will folks keep each other safe in the dark? #organizing

And what will be deemed anti-Christian? Everything street preachers have yelled for decades: LGBTQIA+ rights. No-Fault Divorce. Birth Control. Abortions. Pàlèstìnìàn's right to LIVE. Free speech.

Read @swordsjew.bsky.social 's #wildfaith for a list. Our parents taught us this was always the plan.

My father was radicalized under Reagan. He often told us with pride how R.R. had called on Germany to tear down its wall. I am thinking on that as those who backed RR continue to build walls out of both brick and policy. #Evangelical ideals are always conditional.

I get it. It's hard for some folks to come to terms w/ how the institutions that are supposed to protect our rights, to be the firewall, are...not that. The sooner we abandon the idea that America is somehow "exceptional" in its ability to be fascist-resistant, we can be honest about what we face.

A Christianity that gets offended at the idea of a society using its resources to care for one another is a Christianity that has abandoned Jesus a long time ago.

hey #HandsOff protest folks. What do you plan to do this coming week that will bolster your community's defense against neighbors being disappeared by 🧊 and that will help fund or volunteer-staff local orgs who are working to care for our most vulnerable right now? How do you plan to join the work?

“I see protest as a genuine means of encouraging someone to feel the inconsistencies, the horror, of the lives we are living. Social protest is to say that we do not have to live this way." — Audre Lorde

Many people are deeply resistant to the idea that fascist strategies are in use, bc in their minds (&the mind of Hollywood) 'fascism' is defined not as a set of targeted rule but as 1940s Germany. I don't know how to convey it looks different when the country is much larger and in the age of tech.

/2 This is specifically in response to folks acting like he is either 1)a selfless savior, 2)a z!onìest sell-out performer. Reality is usually more murky than hero v villain. When we don't treat it as such we set our movements up for disaster.Non-hierarchical communities don't have main characters.

A photo of Cory Booker in a suit speaking at a podium is accompanied by a quote by him which reads: "I rise with the intention of disrupting the normal business of the U.S. Senate for as long as I am physically able. Our constituents are asking us to acknowledge that this is a crisis. I am going to stand here until I no longer can."

I think we can appreciate #corybooker taking a stand without turning him into a hero. Yes, it was an commendable step, plus he broke the record held by a racist yt guy. But be clear on why he did it: "our constituents are asking us"
Folks calling, showing at #townhall did this. Keep the pressure on.

Apparently, on Trans Day of Visibility, MTG posted saying trans kids aren't real. In light of this news that we apparently just get dropped into life midgame, I'm curious what y'alls spawn points were.

I must have generated in a book shop.

Marginalization isn't morally exculpatory.

We can be marginalized on one axis (by being trans for example) and do harm on another (say, through whiteness).

Ta Nehisi Coates wrote about this in The Message and he's absolutely right.

A man dressed in military camo and boots wears sun glasses, a mask, and a helmet with goggles pulled up. Above this he wears a white tunic and robe with a large, brown cross on the front. He is taking a knee across the street from the Statehouse. In his right hand he grasps a large cross, in his right hand he holds a bicolored flag. The top half is dark blue and the bottom half is white. Stitches upon the flag is a red x-like symbol reminiscant of the old crusades. A police car and police stand near a group of protesters on the capitol driveway.

This was outside the #Kansas state capital today.A Satanic group was barred from their scheduled Black Mass inside the rotonda & this is one of the #nationalists who stood in opposition as they gathered outside. When we tell you they want another Holy War,please believe us🫠

The use of militant language used by the Christian nationalists who showed up needs to be paid attention by folks. This is how they radicalize followers.
