My last photo of 2024 is also my first image of 2025! This is the Orion Nebula (M42) below with the Running Man Nebula (S279) on top. These are stellar nurseries where stars are actively forming. Distance is 1,500 light years. 33.33 minutes integration time. Z8 + 70-200 + Star Adventurer GTi tracker

Have you tried processing this yourself? I see people getting a lot more detail out of the S50 than the app gives from its live stack.

Can’t say anything is overall my favorite, but the original Gears of War OST is fantastic and dramatic. In fact the trilogy all had really good OSTs.

I believe you’re missing the point. You said it wasn’t called Andromeda - according to NASA it’s also called “The Andromeda Galaxy” as in the galaxy of Andromeda. To your point, yes for easy ID. I just think it’s a strange flex in a thread where everyone thinks an image of M31 is the Milky Way.
