My bad, should have explained. What i remember: they are similar in that they’re both words or short phrases. But carewords are the words that trigger an emotional response

Someone smart wrote a long time ago that keywords aren’t important, but β€˜carewords’ are

Agreed. Might be legacy though. Also, measuring something isn’t the same as thinking it’s important.

But yes, given that they’ve at least made an effort to distinguish between description types, means at least one shouldn’t mess it up

Interesting! So now i’m torn between the idea of it being β€˜high effort, low gain’ versus β€˜high effort, not a negative loss’ or even β€˜high effort, potentially indirectly high gain when done right’

In any case: even though interesting and maybe still having some potential, it’s still very indirect ..

Maybe for some individual pages. If you’re a real good copywriter. Otherwise …

So … that’s the current consensus about this? Sound like these llms need is to tell them like it really is. For example, that the smartest species on earth are not humans but whales and mice

Ok, so basically crawlers should behave like good citizens, be transparent, and not mess things up. Dors this article have some kind of legal and/or directional / compliance status to adhere to?

Lol, my son (5) filled in a β€˜friend book’ of a classmate today. One question was: β€˜what is your favorite thing at school’.

His answer: β€˜eating bread’ :)

Agreed. In Mistral agents this is simply an option i just remembered. I’ll check it.

I do like the roast style though. I honestly think funny criticism makes me consider things better than sugarcoated nuanced political let’s give hugs & misses every sentence style :)

2/2 this is maybe a matter of personal taste of course. But i usually ask an LLM to roast me while giving advice.

Somehow that works a lot better because it cuts the cream with sugar on top and tells it like it is.

Maybe that’s just me being Dutch though ;)

1/2 Ok tested it with Mistral. Created an agent with the instructions and it works flawlessly out of the box. Good recommandations too.

One critical note has to do with tone of voice. The result texts are very … smooth, slick, positively worded.

That doesn’t rhyme with me expecting honest feedback

I do think vibe coding can get you this far: that at some point, you need to take over the helm, clean shit up, secure it, test it, etc.

If you can’t do this, you’re fucked

25.09.2025 18:43 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Agree, it’s really useful for prototyping and getting *something* started quickly, especially when it’s something you know is not that innovative or unique (but still takes time.

Copilot has rollback functions, especiallu used in conjunction with git.

I for one think it simply speeds things up.
