Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse announced for Switch First revealed at Sony's State of Play, Konami has now confirmed that the the latest entry in the Castlevania series, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, is also bound for Switch. The 2D action-exploration game takes place 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, there is no word on if a dedicated Switch 2 release is planned, but as of now, it seems it will only be playable on Nintendo's latest system through backwards compatibility. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set for release in 2026.
