It was such a disappointing moment from a club that purports to be community focused, and has done some great things for the community near and far. They need to do better in the future.

It's such a grey area for clubs, and I can kind of understand both sides. The contract extension was baffling though. A real miscalculation. The club should have walked away the moment the season ended. Instead it just confirmed that they're really not that fussed about these issues.

I'm finding the current labour government pretty indistinguishable from a standard tory one. Same talking points, same inflammatory rhetoric. It's really depressing.

I'd argue that while it's a moral failing of the political and media classes, it's actually a massive success for their aims. This is what they've strived for. Those at the top want a general public who ask no questions and just believe what they're told. Just look at the messaging around AI.
