Hopefully it goes without saying that these kind of attacks on academia are what Trump and conservatives are taking national now.

They're using attacks on NIH and other science grants to achieve that.

Reminder that

a) the tests they want to use are not effective at measuring sporting advantage
b) the tests are not actually reliable enough at testing karyotype either
c) sex testing has been long understood to enable human rights abuses
