Sometimes ‘emerging filmmakers’ are not 18-25. 🍼 We’re 41 year old parents who’ve put raising kids before their own passions. 💡 We’re 35 year olds who’ve been made redundant who want to take their shot at something new. ❤️‍🔥 We’re 55+ women who’ve spent their lives being told they’re one thing and have just learned how to put their dreams first. We are the very definition of 'emerging'. Please offer emerging filmmakers funding to 30+. We're so worth backing. There is epic potential and lived experience to translate into amazing films. These people need support to make the leap and make their films.

It's not just a public service announcement for filmmaking funds. It's something for every employer to realize.

this is a GREAT QUESTION thank you for asking. you are welcome to laugh at tinglers and i understand what some folks find funny about them. i often LEAN INTO these elements because it brings joy. all of that said, i PERSONALLY do not find them funny nor is the point of them to be a comedy. there may be laughter along the way, but it is not their CENTRAL GOAL to elicit laughter. i think of them as magical, joyful, strange, sexy, cute, sweet, absurd. i would put them in the category of magical realism or surrealist erotica. but i personally do not find them funny. thats just me though, buckaroos can take them however they want, thats the great thing about art. YOUR WAY PROVES LOVE TOO so feel free to laugh bud
