Listened to the two songs released on this album and they hit me right in that strange emotional space in my heart where the original Autechre songs burrowed in decades ago, but the acoustic guitar struck with an odd emotional punch like it’s from an alternate timeline where this was the real song.

This sounds like a bananas undertaking on paper, but Shane doesn't miss y'all. He did some Aphex Twin on his last record so this actually makes sense if you've followed his career. Totally looking forward to this one. About to preorder a physical copy.

as someone who also arranged Autechre for a format you wouldn’t usually associate them with (though this is WAY more ambitious), I’m very excited about this one!

New Shane Parish is as good as you'd hope. Not just because it's conceptually so beautiful - a project in how the fundaments of a music are not always what you think they are? - but because Autechre Guitar exists as great music regardless of the backstory/provenance.
