Rip It Up And Start Again. I just finished reading this great book about post-punk. I love Simon Reynolds’ writing. I’m about halfway through “Energy Flash”, his tome on the history of electronic music.

Opening a door to ten more doors. Morning improv 8/27/25p

Today, cooler weather. I worked on arrangements for my next album, taught lessons on Bach, Frantz Casseus, and John Coltrane, drove my daughter all over town to her afterschool activities. It’s shaping up to be a nice fall despite the fact that we are racing towards full blown fascism. 🍂

I enjoyed seeing these two come through Asheville a couple of times in the early 2000’s and crush it. Congrats!
