YEAR OF THE SNAKE
New painting exploring bodies, gravity, and earth.

After-diner, before breakfast drawings. An outcropping of these bodies- based on the way my body feels in space, negotiating gravity.

I love the unexpected nature of painting. I don’t have to conform to my idea of who I am, ever. As I painted these words kept cycling through my mind “all this and more”. I’ve not used words on my art, but why not? I got a thrill up my spine painting -all this- in. It’s titled AND MORE

Fascinated by the physicality you paint into the shadow world, and the interplay between light and shadow where my eye toggles between the two.

Just the image I needed to start my morning! The rhythm of switching pattern images so beautifully backgrounds and foregrounds of narrative. Adds enigma to my day!

Thank you so much for doing this. Your post on IG brought me here and I feel like a stranger in a strange land, in the dark, not able to find my tribe. You lit a candle! Sending gratitude for your inspiring and generous act…
