Thank you! I just checked out that website now. :-)
I have other reasons to return to Salida, and I will be prepared with a bike next time.

I just checked out the JKM website. It's fascinating to see folks making things w/such immaculate attention to detail.
I'm also a ways off from acquiring anything so rare, & I don't want to own "too many" guitars. Still, there are a couple of unique, handmade guitars I hope to acquire someday. :-)

I didn't even know Salida had forested trails down there. Awesome! Only been through Salida for kayaking.
I'll bring the bike next time I'm passing through. Love trees! ๐

I wonder if you would choose one of Mr. Frank's wood-backed Canna Guitars or one with the fascinating "hempstone" backs.
I am attracted to both. I'm not sure which direction I'd prefer to start with, but I'm a big fan and enjoy learning about all of his acoustic guitar design explorations. ๐

A snow-covered black SUV is parked in a driveway facing the camera, with pine trees weighted down by snow to the left and in the background. Aspen trees with thin, bare limbs are visible on the right. The sky is solid white from an ongoing snowstorm. The focal point and most surprising element of the image is the depth of the snow covering the vehicle. The left half of the hood and windshield have been cleared of snow, revealing an accumulated snow depth of over 12 inches on the roof of the SUV and more than 18 inches on the hood. Japanese vocabulary is overlaid at the top of the image. Takusan ใใใใ (A lot)

An orange and yellow Flight for Life helicopter rests on a helipad with a cloud-filled blue sky overhead. The scene is brightly lit by the midday sun, with the white clouds seeming to reflect as much light back down to the ground as they are blocking from the sun. Grass is seen in the foreground. The Seven Seas Lagoon seemed so much bigger when I was a younger kid. I wouldn't have thought the Grand Floridian and Polynesian resorts could fit in the same frame. And the Polynesian has overwater bungalows now? It's been a while. Thank you for the lovely photo and childhood memory prompt. ๐

An early night view after sunset reveals dense clouds in a darkening sky holding the last remnants of light with an array of blue and gray tones. Two large, rounded, snow-capped mountains are seen in the background, and the lights of a small mountain neighborhood dot the blackness of the descending ground beneath the mountain peaks. In the foreground, almost seeming to extend to the mountain range, an expanse of water fills the lower portion of this horizontal landscape view. Ice can be seen on up to half of the water's surface.
Even locals might be misled by this #Colorado #MountainBiking #NightView from last night.
With the iconic Buffalo Mountain/Red Peak vista & w/Wildernest lit below, many might presume that the icy Lake Dillon Reservoir is the foreground.
That is NOT Lake Dillon ๐ตโ๐ซ
Does anyone know what the water is?

A black mountain bike leans against a trail signpost on a ridgeline at the top of a small mountain. A lake and a large snow-covered mountain are seen in the distance. A small tuft of Usnea Lichen can be seen on the branch of a tree in a forest with fresh powder snow. Looking uphill in the forest, a snowboarder's track, created before the rider stopped to turn back and photograph the lichen, is visible.

Outside, a snow-covered, off-white snowboard with its tail end up, and a crack running across the tail is leaning against a wooden staircase rail. Though partially obscured by snow, Flow bindings can be seen mounted to the board. A few pine trees and small aspens are behind the board on a snowy hill. There is a light blue sky background.
Cracked tail w/1st front flip yrs ago. Super cool to see detail of how Emerald attaches K&K pickup to carbon fiber body. You have a great body tapping sound without a mic pickup (that I've read 6-string guitars might need). Could that be attributed to the Balor's size or how you record? (Trying 2 figure out how all this stuff works ๐)

A "Cadillac-green" Gretsch electric guitar with acoustic f-holes, a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, gold metal pickups, and other gold hardware hangs from a black stand. The guitar stand is on a small table with a tall light column next to the guitar. An indistinct framed document is on the wall behind the guitar. Headphones and a hygrometer can be seen adjacent to the instrument.
While preparing for a reach 4 proficiency w/acoustic guitar, I "accidentally" acquired this made in ๐ฏ๐ต Gretsch G6659 semi-hollow electric.
