Zack Polanski pressures Wes Streeting over Palantir after Mandelson texts released ZACK Polanski has piled fresh pressure on Wes Streeting over Palantir’s NHS contracts after the Health Secretary’s newly-released text messages…

A Β£240m defence contract without tender.

Their fingerprints all over our health care data.

A meeting in the USA but without any minutes.

Everything around Palantir stinks.

Space-based data centres are the CCS of big tech. They'll just be perpetually around the corner, there will be a handful of flimsy demonstration projects, and the concept will just suck up gov't subsidies for decades while serving as a rhetorical tool to fend off real regulation of industry

The UK government didn't want you to see this report on ecosystem collapse. I'm not surprised | George Monbiot It took an FOI request to bring this national security assessment to light. For β€˜doomsayers’ like us, it is the ultimate vindication, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

Amazon is producing a web series on #regenerativeagriculture. They are asking experts to pay a fee to be featured. So if you see a special on Amazon about regenerative ag, understand those expert voices were actually bought. Who has the cash to afford these placements? Corporations with an agenda!

No war on a dead planet If defence and intelligence agencies understand the risks from climate and biodiversity collapse, why can’t politicians?

The UK gov has finally released the Global biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and national security report. We face catastrophe. Why aren't politicians acting? I think some are - but in ways perhaps just as frightening.

Taunton Deane is a remarkable plant. Vigourous and productive, it keeps growing even during the winter months. Plants can easily get over 2m tall but become top heavy and shed side branches, especially in heavy rain or snow, so some pruning & care is advised. With that plants can last several years!

A view down a double row of bushy perennial kale plants. They are about a metre tall with a shrubby shape, deep green leaves with purple stems visible. The photo was taken at The Pingle organic market garden where the kale is used in their box scheme. Bare winter trees and a poly tunnel are visible beyond.

A closer view of some of the Taunton Deane perennial kale bushes. It's a wintery view of The Pingle with more rows of crops visible beyond along with bare trees, a pile of woodchip and the hills of the Derbyshire Dales.

The large scale Taunton Deane perennial kale trial at The Pingle continues... These were cuttings in pots a year ago! Now they've survived a week of snow & freezing temps. I did some maintenance staking some plants back upright & removing all large/old leaves. 1/2
