About eight-in-ten (82%) say immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally experience a lot of or some discrimination – including 57% who say they face a lot of discrimination, according to a new Pew Research Center survey of U.S. adults. That is the highest share for any group among 20 included in the survey. A graph showing American's Confidence in the Police, 1993-2025. The survey asked "How much confidence do you, yourself, have in the police — a great deal, quite a lot, some or very little?" The graph line peaked in 204 at 64% and declined more or less steadily to 45% this year.
