I agree something permanent, and more prominent like the warning signage for under Centre St bridge is in order.👍

Truck on the non truck route section of Memorial Dr.
Haven’t posted about trucks on the non-truck route section of Memorial in awhile… not b/c it doesn’t happen.
Still lots of it, so with a new administration I’ll be emailing my ward office to bring them up to speed. 👍

They’ve stencilled the mini crosswalks on the wheeling lanes adjacent the bus stop islands.
Not having these was a concern that delayed the wheeling lanes from opening by a month. But then the mini crosswalks signage was added.
Now with the warm temps, the crosswalks can be painted. 👍

The exception being the Bow River Pathway in bright red and orange on the bottom of the map… which is completely blocked by Memorial Drive and only accessible from the Bev Longstaff pedestrian bridge and the 14 St NW overpass. 🤷♂️

January cycling heat map in the Riley Area of West Hillhurst, Hillhurst and Briar Hill is pretty low compared to other months.
It’s almost like this area doesn’t have safe separated lanes with snow maintenance.🤔
