Federal judge hits Trump administration credibility in siding with city and state against National Guard deployment Judge's order bars 'federalization and deployment of the National Guard of the United States within Illinois' for at least 14 days.

For Judge April Perry, it came down to credibility.

The Trump administration's "perception of events" in Chicago "are simply unreliable," she said. So she blocked Nat Guard deployment in IL, for now.

California governor says Trump is sending 300 California National Guard members to Oregon California Gov. Gavin Newsom says the Trump administration is sending 300 California National Guard members to Oregon.

BREAKING: President Donald Trump is activating up to 400 Texas National Guard personnel for deployment to Oregon, Illinois and possibly elsewhere, per Hegseth memo in court filing.

We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion. It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will now involve sending in another state’s military troops.

Governor Pritzker says the President is sending 300 National Guard troops to Chicago.

They're going after journalists. On Sunday near the Broadview IL ICE facility, an ICE agent shot a pepper ball at the truck being driven by CBS reporter Asal Rezaei, and chemical agents entered an open window, engulfing her.
