It's insulting that we have a legal system that doesn't understand how the human brain behaves during a traumatic event.

And we should *all* be concerned by the chilling effect because it means people aren't coming forward which means we're not apprehending people who are committing profound harm.

When I started dating my now wife she flagged my snoring and a sleep study showed sleep apnea. I knew I snored but had no idea.

Apparently I'd been infamous for just passing out at my desk at work.

The CPAP resulted in my marriage and not eventually dying by wife's hand.

Probably used a quarter of the feta pate batch. The rest is reserved for snacking and toasted ham sandwiches.

To stuff the mushrooms I fried up the stalks, added (a bit too much) bread crumbs, and some feta pate

Froze the filling for 10 minutes, stuffed, fresh Parm on top, baked at 350 for 20 minutes, then broiled for 2.

Little dry due to breadcrumbs but still hit the spot.

Ah well, maybe I'll measure.

8 oz cream cheese
6 oz feta in brine
3 large cloves garlic
Tbsp of S. cream and butter
Cpl dashes of Lee & Perrins (or fish sauce) and Sriracha or hot sauce
Pepper
1/4 finely chopped red onion

Mix everything but the onion then add the onion.

I ate the steak and two of the mushrooms. Apparently my stomach has shrunk.

Also not pictured, the quarter cup of cream cheese eaten in sampling the stuffing for the mushrooms.
