Between December 29 (12:00 AM PST) and January 4 (11:59 PM) there were 52 earthquakes in California of magnitude 2.0 or larger.

🔸50 earthquakes between M2.0 - 2.9
🔸1 earthquake between M3.0 - 3.9
🔸1 earthquake between M4.0 - 4.9

The largest earthquake was a magnitude 4.9 near Susanville, CA.

A great reminder that earthquakes are happening all the time!

Between October 20 (12:00 AM PST) and October 27 (9:00 AM) there were 58 earthquakes in California of magnitude 2.0 or larger.

-50 quakes between M2.0 - 2.9
-8 quakes between M3.0 - 3.9

The largest earthquakes were both magnitude 3.5. One occurred near Petrolia and the other was near Redway.

CalConservation announces another SALC grant success story! This time conserving a 74-acre walnut orchard in northern Solano County via Solano Land Trust.

California’s annual earthquake drill happens Thursday. Here are details Get ready: The Great California ShakeOut is coming. The event is an annual earthquake drill, aimed at increasing public awareness about what to do during major shaking.
