It’s time for real accountability. If the @california-hcd.bsky.social is considering giving Fresno its Prohousing status back, they need to prove that they’ll protect renters, fund real housing solutions, and actually listen to the community.

The Thermal/Oasis Community Council will not be discussing their letter of support for Thermal Ranch at their upcoming meeting on Monday, September 29.

Thank you to the #California leaders who fought to #FixSB131 at the end of this legislative session. Though we’re disappointed to not see urgently needed cleanup this year, we look forward to continuing to work together in 2026 to get these critical fixes across the finish line.

Developers will drain the ECV’s limited resources for private profit while residents are forced to live with the toxic fallout. This project isn’t for the community, it’s being built on the backs of the community.

Thermal Ranch would produce 140,000+ tons of manure daily, intensifying the ECV’s already poor air and putting its most vulnerable families at even bigger risk.

Senor Clemente is a longtime ECV resident of over 20 years and stresses that Thermal Ranch is nothing but profit for outsiders and pain for locals.
