i would be quite keen to read a literature of context collapse where I understood maybe half of what’s going on

and it doesn’t have to be like that – technology now has some really fun affordances for a writer to play with!

i think it’s her attempt at future proofing, although “looked at the social media website on her tablet” will be as nonsensical as “looked at facebook on her ipad” so why not SAY THE THING YOU MEAN
