Busy day. Published a couple of @ojastro.bsky.social papers, did the laundry and pegged it out, wrote a blog post, prepared and gave a lecture, met my new project students, participated in a telecon, bought new shoes, brought the laundry in, and wrote a problem set for an assignment.

Great! I hope this is true...

I keep having to remind myself that there are disciplines in which preprints are a new thing!

Brilliantly, @iamreddave.bsky.social points out that the law doesn’t allow for withdrawal of a presidential candidate after nominations have closed.

Oh not much! We have four Mathematical Methods modules taking one semester each and students may have used it for the previous modules. I am doing differential equations and complex analysis this semester, which is covered in Chapters 14-18, 20-21 and 24-25.
