You’ll notice the air feels a bit more humid today. That’s due to increasing moisture in the atmosphere.

The added humidity won't bring much rain, but it could still offer some help in the fight against the ongoing wildfires.

Kingston Fire grew overnight; new evacuation ordered for Western Bay — Sheerr Weather Late last night, the Provincial Government ordered the mandator y evacuation of the town of Western Bay due to the Kingston Fire, and placed the town of Ochre Pit Cove on evacuation alert.

The #KingstonFire grew in size overnight and may exceed 1,000 hectares as of this morning, based on NASA FIRMS imagery. #nlwx

The #HolyroodFire has prompted the town to issue a State of Emergency.
