The word “fight” polls well, but it doesn’t mean anything. He hasn’t put forward even one policy, much less actually taken to the streets.

I would rather have open borders than a murderous federal occupation of our cities.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.

If “immigration enforcement” requires murdering Americans, we should reconsider enforcing immigration laws.

🕶️ The US Chamber of Commerce and insurance industry have waged a decades-long war against the very concept of ordinary citizens seeking to hold the powerful accountable through civil litigation. That McDonald's coffee lawsuit propaganda shit worked so well that Americans actually believe this bull 🕶️

The left wing option is a parlamentary system that ignores state boundaries entirely.

The radical option is that the fascist-controlled states become territories. We’ve done it before, we can do it again.

It is AMAZING how many institutions simply caved instantly in the face of a blatant violation of the Constitution.

“We have to because these terrorists can control the country with only 30% support and we can’t do anything with less than 85% support!”

Maybe you should change the fucked up constitution then, because right now secession by blue states is the moderate option.

The people who voted for fascist murderers today are the same people @electdemocrats.bsky.social is going to beg us to support this year.

What is the point of electing @housedemocrats.bsky.social if they are also fascists? Why would anyone support their bullshit?

The state should indict members of that secret police force for their crimes; let's find out if they actually have immunity, and what the limits of that immunity are.

I don't think* they have the kind of blanket immunity the Regime claims

This vote is like Ukrainians voting to send their tax dollars to Russian soldiers.

Every ICE agent who commits assault must go to prison.

Oh yeah, absolutely!

The hard part seems to be finding anyone willing to run for office who hasn’t had their values crushed out of them by the party establishment.

Do you even live in the 6th District?

I am so tired of establishment political types treating my home like a parking lot for mediocre moderates who wouldn’t even live here if there weren’t a seat up for grabs.

It is a safe blue seat & Koh is running against actual progressives. Why are you shilling for a corporate dem with millions of dollars from his daddy’s friends?

Dan Koh won’t say Abolish ICE either. All the establishment dems are the same.

Are you willing to break rules to fight Trump? Or by “fight” do you just mean “lecture people on cable news”?

I had a VP try that once.

He did not appreciate my frame-by-frame analysis that followed.

I hear second-hand that John Beccia is now talking about abolishing ICE.

When you’ve lost the secret-Republican “tax cuts!” candidate… chat, I think we might win this

Excerpt reads: "Prioritize your neighborhood
Neighborhoods drive our happiness (or unhappiness) more than we think.

When Lina Martinez, director of POLIS, the Center for Wellbeing Studies at Universidad Icesi in Colombia, studied the happiness of households in the city of Cali, she couldn’t find much difference between poorer and richer areas. “Their happiness is pretty much the same,” she said. But that changed when she isolated neighborhood conditions, such as access to transit, health care and parks. “The conditions of the neighborhood affect happiness,” she said. “I can’t link that to the space where [people] live.”

That aligns with findings from a 2023 study of the Vancouver metro area: Researchers found no significant differences in well-being between people living in single detached homes, duplexes, townhouses, laneway houses and apartment buildings (basement units smaller than 300 square feet were the only negative exception). What did people say they missed most in their neighborhood? Affordability, proximity to family and friends, and a sense of community. Home design was eighth on the list."

A Washington Post article suggests that, beyond a certain threshold, larger homes don't make people happier. Instead, well-being is correlated with affordable housing in walkable neighborhoods where they feel socially connected.

“Injured ICE officers” my ass. They probably hit themselves with the chemical weapons they use on the neighbors and journalists at the scene of their murder.

Make a goddamn arrest or the country is done for.

Every second the murderer is not arrested is another second for feds to hide him in a place that would create a jurisdictional fight. He's on video killing a person. You have to arrest this guy an hour ago, but you might still have time now.

The job of an immigration official isn’t “kill people”. So why are they allowed to carry murder tools?

I was just checking to see if you were arguing in good faith, or if you were just using the blanket of “anti-Semitism” to throw over anything that challenges your politics.

Personally, I am more insulted by the idea that colonization is somehow inherent to or condoned by Judaism.

Oh yeah, the DNC would absolutely like people to shut up and vote… in the general.

They would prefer none of us show up to vote in the primaries.
