I always used to start with the head when drawing, but im going to try starting with the torso for a bit. Early results are encouraging

Kirkham Priory Gatehouse, North Yorkshire. Set by the River Derwent, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, the priory was established as a house of Augustinian canons in 1120 by Walter l'Espec, Lord of Helmsley. The gatehouse was built c1290-5. There are sculptures of St George and the Dragon to the left and David and Goliath to the right. Above the arch are sculptures of Christ in a pointed oval recess with St Bartholomew to the left and St Philip to the right. the armorials represent noble benefactors, including de Ros, Scrope, de Forz, Fitz Ralph and Espec. The style of the tracery is often referred to as 'Kentish' and is uncommon in northern England.

Its been a tough year and I've certainly fallen out of writing as a habit, but maybe im just not as invested in these stories. Its hard to say

I have started writing like 4 or 5 new novels, gotten 2 to 3 chapters in, and then just given up.

I've finished novels before but im just stuck right now.

I hope everybody is having a wonderful and relaxing weekend! 🥰🫂💕

Just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Valentines Day! I hope everybody had a nice day and that you spoiled yourselves!

When I was trying to sell my novels, I felt a lot more pressure to post on more social media far more often than I wanted to.

Now that theyre out of print I quit the sites I didnt actually like and only post when I feel like it (mostly).

There's still an urge to post "regularly" but its much less
