Yes. MBTI would address the how question. Enneagram would address the why question.

The MBTI is an operationalization of Jung’s theory, that he developed from decades of seeing patients.

It doesn’t seem to categorize people, bit rather seeks to identify preferences in cognitive functions, which I think is valuable.

So the MBTI is indicative of functional preferences rather than clear distinctions. There are more than 16 types of people. But people tend to have preferences along these spectra. The closer to the center you are on a particular function, the chances are you might move on the type

Today’s hot take: I think the MBTI is worthwhile and does not deserve all the hate it gets.

I often wish my predecessors didn’t have such great executive functioning.

And I know that being able to name this is a place of privilege. Much of the world experiences burnout from existing.

I’ve thought that I have hit the depths of burnout but just when you think you hit the bottom, you near a knock from below you.
