As a museum worker, it's not super surprising this happened sadly. Even some of the biggest institutions are just not as secure as people would think. It's a fight for funding no matter who you are and security tends to fall to the wayside more often than not when it comes to distribution :'3

*whispers* Don't buy a tank new, go on Craigslist or whatever is the best secondhand find-it site in your area. There are tons of people on there who are giving up fishkeeping for whatever reason who are happy to give you a tank, the equipment, and sometimes even fish for dirt cheap or nothing

I love whatever is wrong with them 🙂‍↕️
