Art Lab provides consistent access to inclusive artistic experiences, especially for our youth.

It was great to join Art Lab in Everett for their Family Enchanti-Craft Open House. They support the growth and development of the arts in Everett by providing space for artmaking, hosting community arts events, and collaborating with local organizations throughout Greater Boston.

This is the first Administration in U.S. history to cut off funding to the best anti-hunger program we have, and take food away from millions of children, seniors, and people with disabilities. We must stand up for our friends and neighbors and stop Trump's unconscionable and unprecedented decision.

Donald Trump has chosen to block funding on November 1st for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program, which will take food off the table of over 1.1 million Massachusetts residents and over 40 million Americans across the country.

I introduced Consul General Minuti to the Senate and he spoke about the rich history of our shared cultures, and how our countries can continue to work together and learn from each other. I want to thank him for visiting and making this month extra special for me and my colleagues.

It was an honor to welcome Arnaldo Minuti, the Consulate General of Italy in Boston, and his team to my office and the Massachusetts State Senate for #ItalianHeritageMonth.

Constituents can call Age Strong at 617-635-4366 to sign up for an in-person appointment at upcoming neighborhood open enrollment events or to speak to an Age Strong certified SHINE counselor by phone.

The annual Medicare Open Enrollment period runs October 15 through December 7. As the health needs, insurance plans & medicine costs change, older adults on Medicare should speak with a certified SHINE counselor each year to maximize their coverage.

CHARLESTOWN -> On Tuesday, November 4th, the Boston Age Strong Commission will share information about the 2025 Medicare Open Enrollment period at the Charlestown Public Library (179 Main St.) and share how Boston residents can get the best coverage at the lowest cost.

It was an honor to be a part of the Diwali Festival held in Everett this past weekend. Thank you to all of the committee members who organized this event which was enjoyed by thousands of people throughout the area. It was a wonderful celebration of food, music and community.

I was proud to speak about my efforts on improving early literacy rates and our success in bringing free school meals to all our Massachusetts students, among other education priorities I have for my district and the state.

Anna is a dedicated Community Advocate and Educator at Cambridge Economic Opportunity Committee. We presented the citations and recognized her with her son and family by her side.

It was great celebrating all the honorees at the The Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus’ Latino Excellence on The Hill ceremony. It was an honor to nominate my constituent, Anna Minaya.

This important event helped raise awareness about the threats many of our friends and neighbors face and how we can best advocate for and protect those people who are most vulnerable.

I'm so glad my team was able to meet with professionals and constituents from the American Nurses Association Massachusetts. I always want to learn more about the important needs and legislative priorities of our nurses and how I can be supportive of their efforts.

I am proud to cosponsor and support this transformative proposal. My colleagues and I listened to testimony from individuals who are struggling and advocates on the front lines trying to support those in need amid the federal cuts that the Trump administration has proposed.

I joined constituents from Cambridge and across my district at the @raiseupma.bsky.social event to highlight my support of the Corporate Fair Share bill, S.2033, which would make corporations pay the taxes they rightfully owe and bring in needed resources for public services across our state.
