Reading my newly uncovered monograph on James Ensor has led me to fellow gloomy Oostender Léon Spilliaert (1881-1946). Fond of a night walk, I love his eerie nocturnal depictions of the seafront off-season, all mysterious inky shadows...

Absolutely need a quality CDM, the midfield feels very makeshift at the moment, someone with real positional sense that can knit Goudmijn’s creativity and Ebou’s more destructive abilities.
