We can’t achieve a truly just society without disability justice!

Disability isn’t something you can put deadlines onto. This bill is an ableist policy seeking to divide disabled folks into categories, and we’ve seen this tactic used by the government on migrants.

But we can fight back! ⬇️

This will prevent disabled people who newly become unemployed from receiving the financial support they need and deserve. This will also exclude people who become disabled after this date, children born with disabilities after this date and people who receive their diagnosis after this date.

From April 2026, new claimants for universal credit (UC) health element, will still see their UC health element almost halved and frozen. What does it mean in practice? ⬇️

Labour had to delay proposed changes to PIP eligibility. They promised this through a verbal contract. It will be pending review in autumn 2026, led by Stephen Timms, the Minister of State for Social Security & Disability. Gov said they want to co-produce with disabled communities on this.

Israel occupied Palestine in 1948.

Polish presidential elections are the best proof that when neoliberals pander to far-right voters, they only make things worse for themselves. Hopefully @rafal-trzaskowski.bsky.social learnt his lesson in this round and won’t repeat the same mistake in the final one. A lot is at stake.

Election result in Romania makes us cautiously optimistic. Well done to all the communities who value democracy and human rights.

However, let’s remember that this is just the beginning of our fight. And we’ll be holding Nicușor Dan accountable as we continue organising beyond elections!

Last night half of our team started panicking because our UKVI accounts showed wrong identity documents. Some of us are travelling this week, some need to apply for Settled Status ASAP. So issues like these put as at risk of losing our rights to move and to stay.

We know that occupations are designed to dehumanise us. Wars and conflicts are designed to profit from us and our lands. Borders are designed to divide us.
