▪️ the Labour government profits from genocide
▪️ uses migrants as scapegoats
▪️ demonises queer & trans people
▪️ criminalises our right to protest
At this rate, Reform will inherit a government with the infrastructure of authoritarianism already built out. Labour got the job done.

Can we have the same energy for Labour as we have for Trump?
People know that Reform is the UK version of MAGA but forget Labour is paving the path towards the far-right.
Let us remind you that just like Trump...

What a sad time that we need to ask politicians for respecting trans people's rights to basic services... Segregation is happening in front of our eyes.

It’s 2025 in the UK which is supposed to be democratic and people are getting arrested for holding up banners?
This government has blood on their hands and trying to shift the blame to people who actually oppose their violence isn’t going to fool us. We’ll continue this fight 🔥

- Keep the pressure up by protesting & contacting your MPs ahead of the third reading of the bill on Wed 9 July
- Campaign to reverse the bill before it comes into power in Nov 2026
- Check on your disabled friends and neighbours!
We can’t achieve a truly just society without disability justice!

Disability isn’t something you can put deadlines onto. This bill is an ableist policy seeking to divide disabled folks into categories, and we’ve seen this tactic used by the government on migrants.
But we can fight back! ⬇️

This will prevent disabled people who newly become unemployed from receiving the financial support they need and deserve. This will also exclude people who become disabled after this date, children born with disabilities after this date and people who receive their diagnosis after this date.

While this is not a complete scrap, it leaves room for hope. Unlike another element of the bill which passed:
From April 2026, new claimants for universal credit (UC) health element, will still see their UC health element almost halved and frozen. What does it mean in practice? ⬇️

Labour had to delay proposed changes to PIP eligibility. They promised this through a verbal contract. It will be pending review in autumn 2026, led by Stephen Timms, the Minister of State for Social Security & Disability. Gov said they want to co-produce with disabled communities on this.

Trying to break down the chaotic vote on welfare cuts bill 🧵:
The bill passed to the next stage with 355 MPs voting for and 260 against. We’re appalled that the vote went this way.
However, the disability justice movement forced a huge climbdown from the government ⬇️

In 2024 & 2025 we’ve seen antifascist mobilisations in many places: UK, Georgia, Slovakia, Germany, France, Bangladesh, South Korea, Kenya... the list goes on. The LA protests are a part of a bigger movement. United, we can defeat fascism, imperialism & colonialism. Solidarity with all protesting!

Israel occupied Palestine in 1948.
They've been killing the people of Gaza and destroying their homes, hospitals and lands for 19 months now.
No humanitarian aid entered Gaza since 2 March.
It took until this week for Keir Starmer to say something about this and he is yet to take any action.

Polish presidential elections are the best proof that when neoliberals pander to far-right voters, they only make things worse for themselves. Hopefully @rafal-trzaskowski.bsky.social learnt his lesson in this round and won’t repeat the same mistake in the final one. A lot is at stake.

Election result in Romania makes us cautiously optimistic. Well done to all the communities who value democracy and human rights.
However, let’s remember that this is just the beginning of our fight. And we’ll be holding Nicușor Dan accountable as we continue organising beyond elections!

A picture shows a Romanian presidential candidate Nicușor Dan and an empty chair next to him that says 'George Simion'.
You know a country is going through something when the presidential debates ahead of the second round of elections look like this.
Romanians deserve better. Keeping fingers crossed that the far-right is as absent from the country after the election, as they are from the debate chair.

Repeat after us: first round of Presidential elections is not for tactical voting!
Looking at you, Poland 👀
Don't be afraid to vote for smaller left-wing candidates who really reflect your views. Their good result will mean the leaders of the race will have to fight for their voter base to win.

The shameful UK Supreme Court ruling won’t erase trans people.
On the contrary, it will make us fight harder for trans people!

Last night half of our team started panicking because our UKVI accounts showed wrong identity documents. Some of us are travelling this week, some need to apply for Settled Status ASAP. So issues like these put as at risk of losing our rights to move and to stay.
Home Office, sort it out. 🙄

We know that occupations are designed to dehumanise us. Wars and conflicts are designed to profit from us and our lands. Borders are designed to divide us.
So what we need now more than ever, is to stand in solidarity with each other and hold on to our humanity and hope.
We’ve got this ❤️
