A chance discussion with my next-door neighbour turned into us gossiping about the neighbours and I've just learned of perverts! Domestic abuse! Police taking children away! Dad's fighting shirtless in the street! Absolutely no idea how we've missed all this?!

My favourite misconception is when patients say to me "you've probably seen my record" my guy I literally cannot get into anything in my department do you really think there's a national patient record we can all see? 😭😭😭

Which then wanted me to register a new device (it's the same device just a different browser) for 2FA which ALSO REQUIRED ME TO LOG IN TO NHS.NET TO APPROVE

I got mad earlier because I logged into number 6 to do a video appointment with a patient, which launches Teams in the browser, defaulted to Edge when everything else is chrome, which needed me to login to my NHS.net account, which is one of 13 passwords I have, requiring password reset...

12) Electronic Service Record (payslips, mandatory training etc)
13) another system for checking mandatory training record

That's just daily stuff, not counting all the irregular systems to navigate ☠️

3) access database for patient letters and triage
4) patient notes system
5) software for drawing family trees
6) new hospital system for recording appointment outcomes
7) employee roster (my annual leave etc)
8) manager roster

Does every large organisation have excessive things to log in to that don't overlap?

As an NHS worker I've just counted at least 13 different systems I have to log in to every day, none of which share a log-on. And that's before counting the ones that launch in different browsers.

The diet was impeccable for the whole week

I know it's not all fat but come on, this is how people lose motivation. I'm not freaking out because I'm at a goal weight and trying to maintain/get fitter now. If this happened 25kg ago when I wasn't good at exercise I'd have given up. ☠️

I went to CrossFit four times last week, went for two runs (with a parkrun PB) and a 2k swim - seven workouts! Across the week I lost 1lb on the scales

I went out on Saturday night and the next day I was 6lbs heavier on the scales

It's now 3 days later and I've only lost two of that

The new thing I'm getting pushed is muscular men on high horses comparing two rows of food. Did you know THIS MUCH olive oil has 200 calories in it but this 1cal spray has only 1? Did you know 30g of nuts has the same calories as WHOLE broccoli? Eat smarter people!!!

My biggest conspiracy theory (and possible head-in-the-sand coping mechanism) is that YouGov is now a clickbait machine and/or infiltrated by the Far Right to generate data designed to make it seem like Far Right views are the norm.
