It’s been about a year since my dad came home on hospice and a few weeks away from the anniversary of his death.

My FIL has been moved from life support to palliative care, we expect him to pass this week or next.

I am not okay. My kids are not okay. Not much feels okay.

15 yr old: It’s the first day of fall

I grew up on a small island without a library. The books I had were the books that I read, again and again. Now, I will drop a book so fast to move onto to something better.

Yesterday I was supposed to be on a flight to Spain. Lots of family medical emergencies led to the trip being cancelled and I am so sad about it.

I don’t have a drinking problem so much as I have a drink problem.

I can't imagine explaining sleep to someone who had never heard of it. Hey, I'm going to fall unconscious and hallucinate for a while. By the way I spend a third of my time doing this. And if I can't do it for a while, I go insane and eventually die. No need for concern.
