Graham Greene as Lennie and Nicolas Van Burek as George in Of Mice and Men (Stratford Festival, 2007). By John Steinbeck. Directed by Martha Henry. Designed by John Pennoyer. Lighting design by Bonnie Beecher. Sound design by Todd Charlton. Photography by David Hou.
It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Graham Greene. Graham was a globally recognized film actor and an award-winning stage and television performer, who joined us here at the Stratford Festival for one unforgettable season, in 2007.

John Lennon, on the left, wears sunglasses and raises his left hand in a wave, while Paul McCartney, second from the left, smiles and waves with his right hand. George Harrison, second from the right, makes a playful face with his mouth open and hand near his face, and Ringo Starr, on the right, holds his jacket and looks forward. The black-and-white photo captures them against a clear sky, with a metal railing visible in the foreground.
On Aug. 18, 1964, The Beatles landed on Canadian soil for the first time.
They didn't land in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.
It was Winnipeg.
And their visit there was a massive event for locals.
This is the story.
