Honestly I do think there's going to be a big electoral backlash no matter what. My main concern in looking at what national Dems are saying now is whether or not they realize after this that we need real reforms and that a lot of people need to be held accountable.

I keep seeing young trans people on social media talking about therapists disrespecting their pronouns and parents telling them that the therapist has a right to their beliefs.

I want to be clear: you have a right to the therapy room being a safe supportive space for YOUR growth.

It absolutely is conversion therapy and abuse for what it is worth. Which is why these unscrupulous counsellors target children and young adults who's parents are paying for them and the young person gets no say in which therapist is chosen for them.

Like I said the other day: there’s a difference between government censorship and private action and the “free speech culture” movement has been steadily obscuring it, naturally leading to this kind of argument.
