Yes, but who decides what is porn? Try posting some classical art on here and see what the auto-tagger does if there are exposed female breasts. What if the UK decides the mere existence of trans people is pornographic? This is a slippery slope we don’t want to stand at the top of.

You have to go into your options and explicitly say you want to see tagged content (and chose which of suggestive, nudity, adult, and graphic media tags you want to see— I like nudity but hate gore)

All accounts on here filter tagged content by default, and the auto-tagger is very strict at identifying nudity.

Adult content can be tagged as:

- suggestive (pictures meant for adults),
- nudity (artistic or not-erotic nudity) or
- adult (sexual activity or erotic nudity)
- graphic media

Who decides? The auto-tagger on here tags all my art nudes as porn (despite there also being an artistic nudity tag). What happens when they decide any mention of any aspect of trans or queer existence is porn?

What’s porn? Who decides? Isn’t content with swearing also restricted under this? (Does @iandunt.bsky.social belong in the box?)

Then who decides what’s porn? I post art nudes, and although there is a tagging distinction between artistic and erotic nudity here, every time I tag something as artistic, it gets auto-tagged as erotic (probably because I have large breasts and it’s all being tagged with machine learning)

You have to opt in to see adult content. It’s blocked by default. (Check my profile, which is mostly tagged art nudes which you shouldn’t be able to view)

Haha, there’s a ton of porn on Bsky! That’s why I’m here; it’s one of the few sites not banning creators of erotica and has a really good tagging system, so you don’t have to see any nudity on here unless you opt in.

I’d rather they only require ID if you want to opt in to restricted content.
