It could be. But it could also be the reduced cognitive load of not changing the configuration of the hand. Most people play by effectively making the rock gesture one, two, or three times (to get the players' hands in sync) and then making their actual play. Rock requires less actual thought.

This makes no sense. They say being as random and unpredictable as possible is the best strategy.
But if most people overplay rock, than clearly overplaying paper is superior to equal-chance randomness.
And if people tend not to repeat, then its best not to play the counter to the last play.

That would limit such opportunities to those who are already pretty highly privileged. The person seeking the conversation may work, have family care responsibilities, etc..

Yours is the only analysis of this region that actually makes sense of it. On your map, the recent mechanized assaults by Russia are clearly meant in part to relieve pressure on the partially-encircled group of Russian forces just to the west of where the assaults took place.

If I understand correctly, that's also not what this says. It says that of the data that is missing, 40% doesn't have the best way to compensate for it, and must use a less reliable method.
It might still be that only a very small percentage of the overall data is missing.

The urban legend is that baseball is big in Japan because American servicemen brought the game there after World War II.
This is pretty good evidence that the interest in the game in Japan predates that.

Is that first graph correct? (Article is behind a paywall for me). βBefore the warβ clearly means βbefore the full-scale war.β Is Crimea + the parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts Russia controlled only about 4%?

That's one way to spin it. One could also say "Russia is starting to deploy kamikaze drones in the Black Sea." Years behind Ukraine, but it could be a problem if Russia decides to use them against commercial shipping.

To everyone saying this should be kept secret, it's clear from the article itself that Ukraine's government wants this information released. The balance between information security and getting the morale/diplomatic boost of publicizing these kinds of efforts is always a tricky one.

I think the key to a Doc Savage movie is who gets cast as the Fabulous Five--that's even more important than who plays Doc, IMHO.
The reason is that they're what would really distinguish the property in the current market, where superheroes don't usually have the leader + quirky super-team format.
