Example of why every player should maximize the amount of money they get. No hometown discounts or any of that foolishness. Holdout whenever and as often as you can. It always has been and always will be purely business, owners aren’t your friend or benefactor. Soak them for every penny.

I think their preferred option was Fields(still not great). When he left, odds of getting anything more than functional qb play was extremely slim. No good veteran qb’s available and a poop qb draft. All their moves are toward getting a qb next year and (typically) surviving this year.

No shade on Barkley but the Giants would have been bad with or without him. Can rightly criticize the process/reasoning behind the decision, but would it have really changed anything long term?
