I watched Chernobyl when it came out. “Oh lord what would happen if a catastrophe happens today?”

Then the Pandemic happened.

And I rewatched it now. Outside of certain countries, the common people are just… fucked.

(GREAT show though. One of the best modern miniseries).

Oh god I saw a clip posted by Netflix (“a bee on you”) and it made me feel awful and I don’t know if I am in the mental state or mood to feel awful.

(Loved series 1 but it did make me feel shitty in a lot of places. Not a “feel good” series!)

I learned about this around ‘94 from the magazines (because I was a massive SW nerd) and read that Jabba let them roam the palace after he took over and thought “oh so he’s not a complete asshole” 😂
